What The Proof Stack is
The Proof Stack reviews supplements, devices, and protocols and grades each one A, B, or C based on the quality of published research behind its claims. Grade A means multiple human trials or a meta-analysis with a consistent, meaningful effect. Grade C means the idea is interesting but the human evidence isn’t there yet. Every claim links to the source it’s built on, so you can check our work instead of taking our word for it. The full methodology is at How we evaluate.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That revenue is what keeps this project going. It is disclosed on every page that carries it, and it never touches the grade. We decide what earns an A, B, or C before we decide who sells it, and a product with no affiliate relationship gets graded the same way as one that has ten.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell placement and we don’t soften a grade for an advertiser. A brand can’t buy its way from a C to an A, and we’d rather publish an honest C than a flattering B. We also don’t give medical advice: this site is informational, not a substitute for a conversation with your own doctor or pharmacist, especially if you’re pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a condition. See the disclaimer at the bottom of this page for the specifics.
Who writes this
The Proof Stack is produced by an editorial team that works under the site’s byline rather than individual names. We’re not doctors and we don’t claim to be; our job is reading the primary research, summarizing it plainly, and being clear about the difference between what’s proven and what’s still a hypothesis. Where a claim relies on outside expertise, we cite the expert and link to what they actually said.
